This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for a Management role in Manufacturing who is looking for an opportunity to fast-track their career.

Our fantastic programme will give you hands-on experience, learning how our Production Facility operates, and how to manage teams, projects and resources.

Throughout 24 months- you will gain invaluable insight and experience from our Production Managers in a range of key areas including:

• Production Planning department

• Engineering and Maintenance

• Production Management inc Production Cleaning

• Engineering Stores and Parts

• Compliance and Sustainability

• Night Shift

To support your ongoing development, you will have the opportunity to attend our Aspiring Manager & Leaders course.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement initiatives and activities.

You will receive continual direct mentorship from our Key managers who will be supporting you to reach your full potential and build your career within the management structure of our energetic organisation.

The position is offered on a full-time basis and will require a flexible approach to working hours. Your role will be day shift based Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm (and a half day off during the week). As part of this Training Programme you will expect to work 1/2 Months on Night shift Operations which will be 4 Nights per week (Year 2).

About the role

Throughout your Training programme you will spend time with our Management team learning the various Production factories, how they operate, gaining experience in all aspects of our Production process.

Main Responsibilities:

• Embarking on a 24 month development programme, designed to accelerate you through a learning curve.

• Participating in a rotational scheme which introduces you to our key functions and colleagues.

• Dealing with one or more mentors from day one of your programme.

• Taking on real management responsibility where you can apply new skills in a supportive environment.

• Forming long-lasting professional relationships with stakeholders around the Company.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • • 5 GCSE’s A-C to include English and Maths
  • • Degree Qualification or studying towards a degree to be completed by June 2023 or
  • • Degree Apprenticeship qualification or studying towards a Degree Apprenticeship to be completed by June 2023 or
  • • Higher Level Apprenticeship qualification or studying towards a Higher-Level Apprenticeship to be completed by June 2023.
  • • Interest or passion within Manufacturing / Engineering
  • • Presenting experience (through study or work)
  • • Relevant IT experience with MS systems and proficiency with MS office.
  • • Experience of completing Projects through your qualification
  • • Experience of working to targets and deadlines.
  • • Computer literacy

Desired criteria

  • • Qualification within Engineering (Already gained or due to have completed by June 2023).
  • • Experience working in a concrete or Manufacturing industry.

  • • General/Broad knowledge of Manufacturing / Production
