Symology Administrator (NI Water)
Working in a team of two, within a department of 8 staff for our client Northern Ireland Water
Experience working on the Northern Ireland Street Works System / Symology System
Due to the location of our offices, you must be able to drive and have own transport
Hours: 08:00 - 15:00 (Monday - Friday)
About the role
The role is to ensure all future excavations are noticed on the Symology System in a timely manner
You will liaise closely with Northern Ireland Water Staff via email and by phone, to ensure LA references are created in advance
Scheduling work for the Supervisors on the symology system, for various divisions, ie: Water, Sewers, Meters. Also to include any traffic management requirements as agreed with Road Service
Update the system with "status updates" to ensure our work is also closed off within a specific timeframe and where required, replan excavation dates
Attaching maps and inserting comments on the symology system
Monitoring our internal job control system to ensure all information is correct and maps are marked accordingly
A keen eye for detail is essential.... if you enjoy spotting errors and rectifying them, you're just right for the job!! :)
Any other ad hoc duties as required
