Gas/Oil Engineer
Are you a Gas or Oil Heating Engineer and looking for your next opportunity? CTS-Cardo are seeking to recruit additional Electrical Inspection & Test Engineers for new contracts in the Belfast and South Down Areas. You will be supplied with a Company van & Fuel Card.

About the role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out gas and oil servicing
Response maintenance as and when required
Communicate with management and Quantity Surveyor
Itemize the work to be carried out in customers’ dwellings and premises
Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
Uphold Data Protection Policies
Travel across North & South Down as required
Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Gas Safe and/or Oftec qualifications
NVQ Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent
Must be eligible for OFTEC and On Gas safe Register
Completed oil training courses 101, 105, 600
Evidence of gas courses either CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, MET1 or others
Completed and up to date Gas qualifications and either be gas certified
Valid CSR Card or formal Health and Safety Training
Full UK Driving License
Experience in construction or plumbing and heating industry
Health & Safety:
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policy at all times
Report any accidents or issues regarding health & safety appropriately
Ensure all Risk Assessments & safe systems of work are read, understood, signed and followed
Observe & follow all manual handling practices
In addition,
As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations, we will require a recent Enhanced Access NI certificate CTS will perform a Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
