Accounts Assistant

Park Inn by Radisson, Shannon Airport is ideally located just steps from the main terminal building of Shannon International Airport. The hotel is well-located for airport travellers or those visiting the nearby business parks. Limerick is 20 km from Park Inn Shannon Airport.

We are now seeking to hire a full time Accounts Assistant to join our team to support the day-to-day financial operations of our hotel. This role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, managing revenue processes, and assisting the Financial Controller.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities

  • Process invoices, payments, and billing accurately and on time

  • Perform daily cash handling and reconciliations

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts

  • Assist with monthly reporting, audits, and year-end processes

  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and ledger accounts

  • Maintain financial records and accounting systems

  • Assist with budgets, stock counts, and inventory tracking

 

Requirements

  • Strong numerical and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Experience in a similar finance role (hospitality preferred)

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
