Working Accommodation Supervisor
The Hotel:
Aspect Hotel Dublin Park West is situated within the award-winning Park West Business Campus, near the city and all the major road networks. Access to and from the hotel is effortless and well located within just four miles West of Dublin City Centre. Access to the city is made easy by the local commuter train which takes just 8 minutes and there is also a regular bus service from outside the hotel. It’s the ideal spot for people travelling for business or leisure, offering 141 guest bedrooms and serviced apartments as well as excellent conference facilities. The Role
Reporting directly to the Accommodation Manager, you will have exceptional attention to detail when it comes to checking our guest rooms, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative & as part of a team. You will be standards driven and will have impeccable standards when it comes to hotel cleanliness and hygiene. Ideally you will either, already be in a working supervisor role or, have at least 2 years’ experience as an accommodation assistant / self checker and feel ready to take the next step into a ‘working supervisors’ role. It’s important in this role that you are comfortable with receiving direction as well as able to delegate some tasks to accommodation assistants, when necessary.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and a friendly manner are also important for this role.
This is a full-time permanent role. Aspect Hotel Park West is a 24/7 operation, so this role will involve shifts & weekend work.
About the role
What’s involved in the role:
Supporting the Accommodation Manager & Supervisor to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in guest rooms and public areas.
Cleaning and / or checking guest rooms & meeting rooms
Cleaning and / or checking public areas
Supervising and training accommodation staff to reach the high standards proudly delivered by the team
When required, completing weekly rosters and checking daily to ensure adequate cover in line with business levels
Opening and closing the department as required in the absence of the Manager & Supervisor to include allocation of daily duties, some ordering and ensuring the department runs smoothly
A person who may be suited to this role will have:
Previous hotel experience in a front of house role
Previous experience in accommodation essential.
Attention to detail essential
