Food & Beverage Duty Manager - Full Time
The Arlington Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with a strong F&B background who is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading and developing a high-performing team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily Food & Beverage operations, ensuring service is efficient, professional, and guest-focused
Supervise and support staff across bar, restaurant, and events operations
Lead, train, and motivate team members to maintain high service standards
Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest queries or complaints effectively
Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
Assist with rostering, staffing, and team development
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company procedures
Support the planning and execution of events and promotions
Work closely with senior management to drive business performance and improvements
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the hotel industry, with a strong Food & Beverage background
Previous supervisory or management experience essential
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use initiative
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Must be legally permitted to work full-time in Ireland
Knowledge of the OPERA system is a strong advantage
