Support Worker – Female only
Location: Barrow in Furness, LA14
We are currently recruiting a female Support Worker to assist a client with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in the LA14 3YF area.
Role Overview:You will provide person-centred support to promote independence and assist with rehabilitation goals. This includes supporting the client with daily living activities and encouraging engagement in their recovery journey.
Shift Pattern:
Day shifts
Sleep-in shifts
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Support with daily living tasks (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks)
Assist with rehabilitation programmes
Promote independence and wellbeing
Provide emotional and practical support
Requirements:
Female applicants only (due to client needs)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience with ABI or similar support needs is desirable

- Full UK driving licence
- 6 Months of UK Complex Care experience
- Strong verbal and written English skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
