Receptionist
About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist / Sales Receptionist to join our team at one of Darwin Escapes’ beautiful holiday destinations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while also supporting sales activities.
As a Receptionist / Sales Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and a seamless experience throughout their stay. You will also play a key role in promoting the park, supporting holiday and ownership sales enquiries, and helping to maximise revenue opportunities. This is a varied role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, and confident in both customer service and sales.
This is a full-time position working variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

The reception team plays a key role in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure, while also contributing to the success of the park through proactive sales support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests on arrival and provide a friendly and professional check-in experience• Handle guest enquiries, both in person, over the phone, and via email• Manage bookings, payments, and reservations using internal systems• Promote holiday bookings, upgrades, and additional services to maximise revenue• Respond to sales enquiries and provide information on holiday packages and ownership opportunities• Support the sales team by generating and passing on qualified leads• Upsell park facilities, special offers, and local experiences where appropriate• Provide information about the park, local area, and available facilities• Handle guest feedback and resolve queries or issues promptly and professionally• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure accommodation readiness• Process check-outs efficiently and accurately• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area• Support administrative tasks and daily reception operations• Follow all company procedures, including data protection and health & safety
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, or sales role is desirable• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Confident in promoting products and services in a professional manner• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities• A friendly, positive, and professional manner• Good IT skills and confidence using booking systems• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment• A flexible approach to work• A commitment to delivering an excellent guest experience while supporting sales targets
