The Role

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and highly organized House Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a private household. This role requires a hands-on individual who can maintain a clean, well-managed, and welcoming home environment, while also anticipating the needs of the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of household operations to ensure smooth daily functioning

  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard

  • Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties, maintaining a consistently tidy and organized home

  • Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate garments

  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained

  • Prepare the home for the evening.

  • Keep all areas of the home well-organized and presentable at all times

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and respect for privacy at all times

About the role

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar household or domestic management role preferred

  • Strong cooking skills and ability to prepare a variety of meals

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Flexible with working hours to meet household needs

  • Must hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive

  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK

  • Previous experience gained within a Health and Social Care setting
