Private Household in Holywood, County Down.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and highly organized House Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a private household. This role requires a hands-on individual who can maintain a clean, well-managed, and welcoming home environment, while also anticipating the needs of the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of household operations to ensure smooth daily functioning
Prepare and cook meals to a high standard
Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties, maintaining a consistently tidy and organized home
Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate garments
Shop for groceries and household supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
Prepare the home for the evening.
Keep all areas of the home well-organized and presentable at all times
Maintaining strict confidentiality and respect for privacy at all times
About the role
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar household or domestic management role preferred
Strong cooking skills and ability to prepare a variety of meals
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Flexible with working hours to meet household needs
Must hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive
Must have the legal right to work in the UK

- Previous experience gained within a Health and Social Care setting
- Experience supervising staff
