About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer to join a successful and growing business with an annual turnover in excess of £250 million.
You will become part of the in-house design team within the marketing department, supporting the Graphic Design Manager and wider team in producing creative content across the Wernick Group’s companies, products and services.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your design career within a fast-paced commercial environment. You will work on a wide variety of projects across print and digital media while building your skills and gaining experience across multiple areas of design and marketing.
The Graphic Design department acts as the visual voice of the Wernick Group. We are responsible for delivering clear, professional and engaging visual communications across both external marketing and internal communications.
We are looking for a creative and motivated individual who enjoys producing high-quality design work, is eager to learn, and is comfortable working across multiple projects with support from the wider team.
Main duties:
Produce adverts, leaflets and brochures
Catalogues and professional tender documents
Producing imagery for company website and intranet
Support updating company’s social media channels
Email and printed mail shots
Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions
Editing photos and managing photo libraries
Create social media specific graphics and video
Support the Graphic Design team with current and upcoming jobs
Support the Marketing Department in other day to day activities
Personal specifications:
A graphic design related degree or have proven skills in these areas
Creative individual, with the ability to manage customers’ expectations
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite software
Competent in Microsoft Office
Ability to edit video and create animations are a distinct advantage
Team player, with strong organizational skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
