About Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Executive who will be responsible for nurturing relationships with current and new customers, anticipating their needs, and driving sales for Mulrines. You will be a key part of the Commercial Team, with a specific focus on the foodservice and wholesale markets in Ireland and the UK. This position plays a key role in managing customer accounts, including both own-label and client-label products. Some travel within Ireland and the UK will be required.
The successful candidate will provide essential sales support to ensure the smooth running of commercial operations and will play an integral role in supporting the ongoing success of Mulrines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts to retain and grow business.
Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
Manage customer accounts and resolve issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and other documentation to support customer engagement.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports on sales performance and market trends.
Coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns, including documentation, performance tracking, and distribution of materials and samples.
Liaise with internal teams regarding orders, customer requirements, and account updates.
Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates and resolving routine enquiries.
Prepare sales reports, business reviews, and presentations for management and client meetings.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
Proven experience in a commercial sales role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Full Driving license
Desirable:
Experience within the food and beverage industry or similar FMCG environment.
Knowledge of order management and customer account coordination.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.

Originally located just off Main Street Ballybofey with a workforce of 4 people, the company specialised in the production and distribution of soft drinks and bottled beer. In 1971 P Mulrines & Sons Sales was established, and a new plant was opened on the Donegal Road which offered greater opportunities to the local people for employment with numbers increasing to around 80 people at the site
With the period of growth that followed our first Tetra Pak fillers were introduced in 1982.
An independent fourth generation family business the Company has grown steadily over the years. As a family business we are very proud of our local heritage and of the loyal workforce we have generated here in Ballybofey and the surrounding area, currently employing over 250 people across all sites.
