About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and instruct riders of all levels in flatwork, jumping, and cross‑country, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and progressive learning environment.

  • Escort guests on cross‑country, estate rides, and training sessions across our extensive trails and world‑class equestrian facilities.

  • Provide clear, encouraging, and professional coaching aligned with BHS standards.

  • Deliver exceptional guest interaction, maintaining Castle Leslie Estate’s reputation for warm hospitality and high‑quality service.

  • Support daily yard operations, including horse care, tacking up, and assisting with preparation for lessons and estate events.

  • Help maintain the wellbeing and performance of the riding school horses, ensuring the highest welfare standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship (or equivalent), with strong instructional skills and confident ride‑leading abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner.

  • A strong safety mindset and ability to manage groups effectively on varied terrain.

  • Passion for delivering memorable equestrian experiences in a luxury estate environment.
