Building Maintenance Operative
About the Role:We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Building Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth running and effective delivery of all required maintenance services across various properties. Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of properties
Paint and fill gaps or crevices on surfaces such as walls and sidewalks
Carry out light installation or carpentry work
Repair equipment or household appliances
Respond to assigned duties and emergency tasks
Identify and report any major repair requirements
Manage resources effectively and efficiently
Use job tracking and communication apps on mobile devices
About the role
Compliance & Safety:
Comply with all Domestic and General policies and procedures
Follow safety regulations in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005
Maintain a hazard-free work environment
Adhere to health and safety policies, including the use of protective equipment
Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses to management
Be familiar with fire precautions and emergency procedures
Code of Conduct:
Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour in line with company standards
Uphold good personal hygiene and high work performance
Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
Essential Requirements:
Full clean driver’s licence
Own tools
Proven experience in property maintenance
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Ability to use mobile phones and email systems
Good knowledge of the Dublin area
Flexibility with working hours
