Essential Requirements

To be successful in this Learning Disability Support Worker role, you must have:

At least 12 months’ experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.• PMVA training• Strong de-escalation and behaviour management skills.• Experience promoting independent living skills such as routines and nutrition.• Confidence using digital care planning systems for accurate record keeping.• A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.• Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work documentation required)

•           NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People or Adults).Desirable Qualifications

• First Aid training or equivalent.
