Marketing Executive
Be the voice behind one of the UK & Ireland’s premier business groups.
The Crossland Group isn’t a typical engineering or manufacturing company and this won’t be a typical marketing role. We’re a fast‑paced, people-first group operating across the UK, Ireland and the EU. We build industry‑leading tanker solutions, but the real engine of our success is our people, our innovation, and our drive to keep pushing forward.
We’re now looking for a creative, energetic and commercially‑minded Marketing Executive to take ownership of the full marketing function and strategy across the group and help write the next chapter of our story.
Why this role matters
You’ll be the person who brings our brand to life, from social campaigns and product showcases to exhibition stands and everything in between. This is an opportunity to join a company where marketing shapes growth, not just fills a box on an org chart.
You won’t be “just posting online”. You’ll have the scope to influence strategy, pitch new ideas directly to senior management, and develop campaigns that drive real enquiries and real revenue.
If you like variety, pace and autonomy, you’ll thrive here.
What you'll be responsible for:
Leading our brand and marketing activity across different businesses within the entire group
Creating compelling content for social, digital and industry publications
Collaborating closely with engineering and commercial teams on product launches, tenders and demonstrations
Shaping our presence at exhibitions and industry events
Spotting opportunities for new revenue streams through smarter, more strategic marketing

Crossland Tankers

When we first started out in business back in 1988, we were originally a tanker repair and servicing company, providing maintenance services to local bulk liquid haulage companies. However, although our resources were modest when we started out, our passion, determination, and ambition to succeed were always there in abundance. As a result, by the mid-1990s – building on our extensive repairs experience – we began to manufacture our very own tankers for the UK road industry at our factory in Swatragh, trading under the name Crossland Tankers Ltd.

From here, our business grew year-on-year, culminating in the purchase of Massey tankers, in 2003. This not only gave us access to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, it also gave us a base within the UK mainland. Today, we employ over 130 people across our two manufacturing sites at Swatragh (Northern Ireland) and Burnley (Lancashire) and are one of the leading tanker manufacturers in the UK and Ireland. We are proud to have a wide range of customers in Ireland, the UK, the EU, and the Middle East.
