⏰ Shift Patterns (Including Weekends)

We offer a variety of shift options, including weekends as part of the rota:

  • 🌞 Day Shifts: 07:30 – 21:30

  • 🌙 Night Shifts: 21:15 – 07:45

Flexibility and reliability are key, you must be able to do a mixture of shifts — and we make sure your work-life balance is supported.

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals with autism, learning disabilities, complex care needs, and behaviours of distress live safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.

The people we support live in their own homes within our setting, and your role is to provide both practical assistance and emotional support, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and empowered every day.

You’ll deliver person‑centred care, tailored to each person’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.


🔹 What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied, meaningful, and centred around supporting people to live well. You will:

  • Assist with personal care, including showering, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene

  • Support with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping

  • Help with medication administration and accompany individuals to health appointments

  • Use positive, safe approaches to support people experiencing behaviours of distress

  • Encourage social interaction, community engagement, and participation in enjoyable activities

  • Offer emotional reassurance, companionship, and a calming presence

  • Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect in everything you do
