Getting to the Osprey : Free onsite parking for staff . Using public transport , the bus will leave you just a short walk away from the hotel. Using the train , you can hop on the feeder bus into Naas from the Sallins train station and this will leave you with just a short walk to the hotel.
Your New Role
We are looking for someone who is friendly, helpful and empathetic to the core. If this is you, then this position is a perfect match. Always there to lend a helping hand, the receptionist can leave the best of impressions on our guests through friendly and helpful interactions. The receptionist role can also be one of the most rewarding and enjoyable roles that people can bring their own touch to. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills. a team player with the ability to multi-task and a fine eye for detail. We are looking for someone who is a professional and polished individual. Previous experience within a similar role is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be provided. This role is made for you to make it your own.
About the role
Responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
Efficiently checking guests in and out
Answering the switchboard and telephone courteously, transferring calls, and handling requests
Accurately taking reservations and noting any special requirements
Promoting and upselling the hotel’s facilities at every opportunity
Ensuring billing is completed accurately and in line with company standards
Handling guest complaints, queries, and suggestions promptly and professionally
Adhering to all company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Cash Handling
Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
Courteous and committed to delivering consistently high standards of service
A team player with strong multitasking abilities
Ability to stay calm under pressure and capable of working on their own initiative
Detail-oriented and standards-driven, with a passion for hospitality
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Flexible and available for a variety of shifts, including weekends
This is a part-time role which include midweek and weekend shift work.
