About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in accelerating Healix’s growth in the U.S. market. You’ll identify and convert new business opportunities, build strong commercial partnerships, and influence our broader sales strategy. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and internal subject matter experts, you’ll help drive measurable revenue growth and raise the visibility of the Healix brand across your region.

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Expertise
Proven success in travel risk management, medical or security assistance, or selling services into the insurance and broker market.
Experience working within a growing, evolving business environment.
Strong commercial and financial awareness, with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
Communication & Relationship Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Confident presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
Able to maintain clear, consistent communication—especially while working remotely.
Organisational & Management Skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Consistent delivery against commercial metrics and agreed objectives.

About the role
What You’ll Be Doing
New Business Development
Generate new business opportunities in line with your commercial targets.
Identify, research and qualify potential clients to build a healthy sales pipeline.
Lead face‑to‑face client meetings, networking events, and presentations.
Prepare tailored proposals, pitches, and tender responses aligned with both client needs and Healix commercial strategy.
Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve sustainable, strategically aligned growth.
Partner with internal SMEs to shape compelling solutions for prospects.
Use Salesforce to track activity, maintain accurate data, and capture insights.
Collaborate on RFPs and tenders to ensure strong competitive positioning.
Account Management
Build trusted relationships with existing clients to support retention and identify cross‑sell opportunities.
Ensure commercial consistency across accounts while balancing client expectations and internal standards.
Contribute to long‑term strategic initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and strengthen partnerships.
Marketing & Networking
Support marketing campaigns and initiatives that raise Healix’s profile and generate leads.
Maintain an active awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
Represent Healix at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
What you will need
Required criteria
- Proven success in high-level B2B sales
- Technically proficient and digitally fluent, with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
