About the role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and host guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable arrival experience.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously.

  • Assist with restaurant booking enquiries and coordinate guest dining preferences.

  • Provide local recommendations and actively promote the surrounding Dublin area.

  • Maximise sales opportunities through upselling the Townhouse facilities and services.

  • Ensure all front office procedures are followed and complete all shift checklists and tasks with attention to detail.

  • Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness at the front desk.

  • Follow hotel policies on security and cash handling at all times.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Previous experience with the Opera reservations system is preferred.

  • Strong upselling and cross-selling abilities.

  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • A genuine passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.

  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.

  • Enjoys autonomy and seeks continuous improvement.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
