Locality Manager – Residential Services

Location: Marston Green, Birmingham Salary: Up to £34,500 plus £1,800 Car Allowance

About the role

About the Role:

As a Locality Manager, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management across our residential services.

  • Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote dignity, choice and quality of life.

  • Recruit, train and develop a motivated team to deliver outstanding care.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation are fully adhered to.

  • Drive continuous improvement and proactively address any service shortfalls.

  • Respond to new referrals, complete comprehensive assessments, and ensure occupancy targets are achieved.

  • Monitor staff performance through regular supervision and appraisals, supporting ongoing development.

  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability and innovation within the residential services.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience managing residential care services or similar care settings.

  • Strong leadership skills with a compassionate and proactive approach.

  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.

  • Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

  • A valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between services as required.
