Join our fabulous team at the Connemara Coast Hotel as a Front Office Receptionist.

The receptionist role is an exciting role that involves providing our guests with top customer service and completing administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Front Desk function.

Responsibilities

All our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include:

  • To complete duties as requested by the Front Office Manager & Supervisor

  • To greet any arriving guests in a warm and welcoming manner, acknowledging them immediately and attending to them as soon as possible

  • To efficiently check in guests, confirming that all details and any special requests are correctly updated on HotSoft and communicated to relevant team members

  • To promote a helpful and professional image at all times and give full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, with a prompt caring and helpful attitude

  • To confirm/offer dinner reservations to all guests upon check in.

  • To provide information/directions and answer queries about the local area/amenities

  • To ensure all room service calls are handled quickly and efficiently

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.

  • Strong work ethic and customer centric mindset required

  • Excellent spoken English required

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills required

  • Ability to learn new information required

  • Resilience and capable of working under pressure a distinct advantage

  • The ideal candidate must be available to morning and evening shifts throughout the week, weekends and public holidays.
