Reservations Agent is responsible for handling customer booking inquiries, processing reservations, modifying or canceling bookings, and providing accurate information about services, pricing, and availability. They ensure excellent customer service by assisting clients via phone, email, or online systems, maintaining reservation records, and coordinating with relevant departments to guarantee a smooth guest experience

Reservations Agent Responsibilities & Job Requirements

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests over the phone in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner

  • Records reservation information accurately on Reslynx

  • Records and processes deposit information

  • Records special billing instructions, approves credit after consultation with Revenue Supervisor

  • Records requests for special accommodation and suites

  • Files all reservations in a systematic order for easy referral

  • Identifies commissionable reservations and secures required information

  • Informs other departments of VIP arrivals

  • Contributes to maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield management

  • Maximises customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting hotel restaurants and other services and facilities to guests.

  • Provide excellent service, build strong relationships, anticipate and exceed the guests’ expectations

  • Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check-in/out and complete audit procedures, as required

  • Take ownership of guests’ issues and take action to resolve them immediately

Job Requirements:

  • This is a full-time role

  • Good command of English in both verbal and written communication

  • A natural ability to sell the Diamond Coast Hotel Experience

  • Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Working on rotating shifts, including weekends

  • Experience in revenue management systems desirable

Job Requirements:
