Receptionist - 20 hours per week

At Key, we provide high quality personalised support to over 2,000 disabled people, across 17 Scottish local authorities, enabling them to lead full, active lives in their own homes and communities. Key is also a Registered Social Landlord (RSL) with over 700 homes across Scotland specifically designed for disabled people and those with long term support needs. 

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a warm, approachable, and professional Receptionist to join our team.

As our Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming first impression and will be the first point of contact for anyone engaging with us.

This is a part‑time position of 20 hours per week for an initial period of 12 months, working Monday to Friday, 8.15am–12.15pm.

The successfully candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working in a reception/front-of house position or wider administrative role along with experience of using Microsoft packages in an office environment.

About the role

As a Receptionist, you’ll be a friendly and welcoming presence at our main Glasgow office, working as part of our supportive Administration Team on a part time, temporary basis. Reporting to the Administration Manager, you’ll help create a positive first impression for everyone who gets in touch with us, making sure enquiries are handled promptly and with care.

Your day will include greeting visitors, handling our phone calls, keeping an eye on shared mailboxes, and helping direct enquiries to the right colleagues. You’ll also lend a hand with general admin tasks such as word processing, scanning, and filing, helping the team stay organised and efficient.

In everything you do, you’ll bring a warm, respectful, and professional approach, maintaining confidentiality, treating everyone with kindness, and promoting equality and fairness.
