Maintenance Assistant Full Time
The Property
Located in the heart of Glasgow’s city, overlooking George Square. Our spacious, modern apartments offer guests the perfect alternative to a hotel. Open plan living is on offer with each suite containing a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, relaxing lounge and separate bedrooms; some of which have ensuite shower rooms as well as main stylish bathrooms. We have one and two bedroom suites as well as delightful penthouse suites with gorgeous views of the city.
The Role
We are looking for a flexible general all rounder for this role. Working with the maintenance team you will look after plumbing, general painting and light maintenance across the properties. The role will also cover maintenance duties in our sister property at PREMIER Suites, Bath Street. The ideal candidates will be a team player with the ability to multi task, be standards driven and detail orientated. The role is full time for 40 hours 5 days over 7 including weekend cover on a rotating roster.

What’s involved in the role?
Providing general maintenance within the property and its grounds
General duties will include maintenance, painting and plumbing.
Ensuring in conjunction with the property Manager that we operate a safe and secure environment for guests and our team.
Ensuring that all maintenance queries are dealt with in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
Ensuring that our guest facilities and public areas are maintained and kept clean and tidy .
A person who may be suited to this role will have:
Must have valid permission to work.
A good knowledge of plumbing and related skills is essential.
Experience in and knowledge and understanding of maintenance trade would be essential.
Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, serviced apartments or hotels advantageous.
