Chef de Partie (Full Time)
The 4-star Maritime Hotel, is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our growing kitchen team.
With 120 bedrooms, a busy food and beverage offering through the Ocean Restaurant, Maritime Bar, and Windward Banqueting Suite, we’re a hub for locals and visitors alike—especially during family celebrations, special occasions, and seasonal events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie who is looking to work in a positive, team-driven environment under an experienced Head Chef.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and run a specific kitchen section, ensuring consistency in food quality, preparation, and presentation
Assist in the planning, preparation, and delivery of high-volume food service across multiple outlets
Mentor, support, and train junior kitchen staff
Maintain excellent standards in food hygiene and safety by ensuring full HACCP and Health & Safety compliance
Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience at Chef de Partie level in a busy, high-volume kitchen
A passion for showcasing local West Cork produce and delivering exceptional food
Strong understanding of modern food trends, kitchen operations, and plating standards
Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to take initiative, stay organised, and remain calm under pressure
