Due to continued growth and expansion Mulrines is looking to recruit a Transport Planner.

Mulrines of Donegal is Ireland’s premier juice production company, established in 1919. With over a century of experience, Mulrines now employs a highly motivated workforce of more than 220 people, operating from two major sites in Ireland, including our HQ in Donegal and our orchards in Kildare.
Role Duties:
The Transport Planner is responsible for running the day to day dispatch, managing hauliers and liaising with customers to ensure an efficient system is maintained.
Role and Responsibilities include
Plan all dispatch daily, booking hauliers by phone, emailing them with details of loads being collected, ensuring they collect on time, organising uplifts, dealing with any queries or issues along the way.
Book loads in with customers, recording references and times, online booking where relevant e.g. dealing with customers issues or queries along the way
Produce a daily load plan
Copy loads for warehouse to pick
Record daily figures to aid weekly reports
Check & supply traceability as appropriate
Resolve issues with Credit Control as required
Produce & circulate daily and weekly sales figures or ad hoc reports as required
Assist in month end stock take
Maximise load capacity per trailer in order to achieve lowest distribution cost per case
Be available to receive phone calls and resolve queries from hauliers on Company mobile phone as required either during shift or out of hours
Ad hoc duties as required

P Mulrine & Sons was established in 1919. Originally located just off Main Street Ballybofey with a workforce of 4 people, the company specialised in the production and distribution of soft drinks and bottled beer. In 1971 P Mulrines & Sons Sales was established, and a new plant was opened on the Donegal Road which offered greater opportunities to the local people for employment with numbers increasing to around 80 people at the site
With the period of growth that followed our first Tetra Pak fillers were introduced in 1982.
An independent fourth generation family business the Company has grown steadily over the years. As a family business we are very proud of our local heritage and of the loyal workforce we have generated here in Ballybofey and the surrounding area, currently employing over 250 people across all sites.
