Job Description:
Mulrine's of Donegal is Ireland’s premier juice production company, established in 1919. With over a century of experience, Mulrines now employs a highly motivated workforce of more than 240 people, operating from our two major production sites in Ballybofey and Sion Mills.
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our busy commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Account Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of commercial activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a dynamic commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide administrative support to the commercial team, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and managing communications.
· Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including pricing, promotions, and sales data.
· Assist in coordinating product launches and promotional activities, liaising with internal teams to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
· Prepare sales reports and market analysis to support the commercial strategy.
· Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, providing prompt and professional support.
· Liaise with the order management team regarding new orders, product availability, and customer-specific requirements.
· Support the Commercial Account Manager in preparing proposals, presentations, and business reviews for client meetings.
· Manage and organize filing systems, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
· Assist with tracking and monitoring promotional performance and customer-specific projects.
About You:
Essential:
Experience in a commercial, sales, or administrative role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
Desirable
Experience in the food and beverage industry or a similar FMCG environment.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.

Originally located just off Main Street Ballybofey with a workforce of 4 people, the company specialised in the production and distribution of soft drinks and bottled beer. In 1971 P Mulrines & Sons Sales was established, and a new plant was opened on the Donegal Road which offered greater opportunities to the local people for employment with numbers increasing to around 80 people at the site
With the period of growth that followed our first Tetra Pak fillers were introduced in 1982.
An independent fourth generation family business the Company has grown steadily over the years. As a family business we are very proud of our local heritage and of the loyal workforce we have generated here in Ballybofey and the surrounding area, currently employing over 250 people across all sites.
