Receptionist (Full Time) Leopold Hotel Sheffield
The Hotel
The Leopold Hotel is a unique four-star Sheffield hotel. Centrally located on Leopold Square amongst an array of upmarket bars and eateries, our historic property offers a quirky yet luxurious place to meet and sleep. Each of the hotel’s 89 en-suite bedrooms is uniquely furnished, offering every modern amenity for the discerning visitor.
The Role
The Receptionist role is an important part of our Front Office team. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager you will ensure that the hotel reception area operates smoothly, welcoming guests and promoting a positive image of the hotel to all guests and colleagues by maintaining high standards at all times.

Whats involved in the role:
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience in a hotel reception environment. They will be reliable, organised, have excellent customer care, be a good team player and have a natural flair and enthusiasm for dealing with and communicating with people.
Some duties will include:
To carry out receptionist duties - welcoming guests to the property, providing efficient check-in and check-out
To anticipate guest’s needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations.
Manage telephone, and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times
To deal with any guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently.
Use of onsite computer systems including PMS, email and Microsoft packages
A person who may be suited to this role will have:
Previous Hotel reception experience using a computerised reservation system desirable.
A warm and friendly personality with a real desire to deliver high standard guest care standards and support the team to develop.
