Home Comforts Laundry Partner
Purpose of the role :
The Home Comforts Laundry Partner plays a crucial role in promoting dignity, comfort and wellbeing for every resident. You ensure all personal clothing, bedding, linens, towels and dining fabrics are cared for with precision, respect and pride.
Laundry is an essential part of the resident experience — supporting identity, comfort, presentation, infection control and the overall feel of the home. Your care directly influences how residents feel each day and how families perceive the home.
This is not simply operational work.
It is meaningful work that protects dignity, enhances comfort and creates a home that feels fresh, safe and well cared for.

1. Deliver Exceptional Laundry Standards
2. Dignified Handling of Personal Clothing & Identity Items
3. Accurate Labelling, Sorting & Tracking
4. Emergency Laundering of Staff Uniforms
5. Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Safe Laundry Practice
6. Laundry Area Safety, Organisation & Presentation
7. Support Continence Dignity Through Timely Laundry Processing
8. Partnership Working & Communication
9. First Impressions & Environmental Contribution
10. Stock, Resource & Budget Awareness
11. Supporting Digital Environmental Records (Nourish 2026)
