Care Assistant - Redhill & Reigate
To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity while promoting independence and wellbeing.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Support with medication in line with care plans and company policies
Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and light household tasks
Provide companionship and emotional support
Support individuals to attend appointments or access the community
Follow individual care plans and update records accurately and on time
Observe, monitor, and report any changes in health or wellbeing
Maintain confidentiality and respect at all times
Work in line with CQC standards, safeguarding policies, and health & safety procedures
Communicate effectively with service users, families, and the wider care team
Person Specification
Essential:
A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
Good communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to undertake training and development
Right to work in the UK
Driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
Previous experience in care (not essential – full training provided)
NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
