HR Coordinator
We’re looking for a motivated and organised HR Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who’s eager to contribute to improving the employee experience across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, retention, and HR operations.

About the role
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Manager of People & Culture to foster, maintain, and embed a positive and meaningful workplace culture across Caremark and its wider network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about creating an engaging employee experience and ensuring HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support: Assist the Manager of People & Culture with screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Promote and manage the use of our new ATS, ensuring accurate data and a seamless candidate experience.
Onboarding: Contribute to improving onboarding processes to deliver a positive and consistent new-starter journey.
Culture & Engagement: Assist in developing and implementing initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, improve retention, and promote a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Employer Branding: Monitor and respond to Glassdoor reviews, manage our Caremark Indeed company page, and work closely with Indeed to optimise job advertisements and share company updates.
Online Presence: Oversee and update the Caremark Indeed company page with news and relevant content.
Job Ad Optimisation: Collaborate with Indeed to refine job search terms and review job ads quarterly for relevance.
Policy & Compliance: Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK employment law and best practice.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, manage documentation, and provide general administrative support across People & Culture functions.
Projects: Contribute to ad-hoc People & Culture projects as required.
Experience
Previous experience in HR or People & Culture roles is essential
HR Qualification (Desirable)
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Confident using HR systems or willing to learn quickly.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, people-focused attitude and genuine interest in HR and company culture.
Familiarity with UK employment law basics (desirable).
Understanding of HR processes and best practices.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Experience in HR software and MS Office Suite.
Experience within franchise industry would be a plus.
