Park Manager

We are looking for a Park Manager to join our team at Beach Cove Coastal Retreat in Ilfracombe, Devon.. Fantastic competitive salary!

This retreat is surrounded by lush and well maintained grounds it is the perfect relaxing location for holiday and short breaks. Set in beautiful grounds with its luxury holiday homes, we are looking for a Manager who can lead the team to maintain and excel in the running of the resort to a five star standard that is expected by Darwin Escapes.

Please note on site accommodation is not available for this position

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days including weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

This role includes on call hours on a rota basis, further details will be discussed upon application.

Requirements:

Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

  • Estate & Grounds Oversight: Direct involvement in grounds keeping, ensuring all external areas are presented to the highest standard, reflecting the natural beauty of the location.

  • Essential Maintenance Support: Assisting with general maintenance tasks, managing minor repairs, and coordinating external contractors for larger issues.

  • Hot Tub Management: Overseeing the strict maintenance, chemical balance, and cleaning procedures for all guest hot tubs, ensuring compliance and safety.

  • Reception & Guest Services: Providing crucial support to the front-of-house team, assisting with guest arrivals, departures, and handling occasional queries with a positive, solutions-focused approach.

  • Team Coordination: Leading by example, allocating daily tasks, and ensuring all departmental checklists are completed efficiently and to standard.

Previous Management experience is essential. The successful candidate will need excellent customer service and communication skills and a positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. A driving licence and ability to drive is an advantage to enable easy travel to and from the retreat.
