Companionship Carer (Alton)
Melody Care is a quality, trusted, and award-winning provider of home care services. We are currently recruiting Carers to join our established team working with vulnerable adults in their own homes.
We have the following hours available: 7am until 2pm and 4pm until 11pm
We offer guaranteed hour contracts of 10, 16, 25 and 35 hours per week. To qualify for this you will need to work at least one evening per week and some hours alternate weekends.
We can employ those without care experience as our onboarding process includes training, work-based learning, and ongoing, hands-on support.

About the Role:
As a Companion Carer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of companionship and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities
- Providing companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness
- Assisting with light household tasks and meal preparation
- Accompanying clients on outings and appointments
- Offering empathy, understanding, and a listening ear

- Previous experience in caregiving is a plus, but not essential
