Team Lead – Technical, Creative and Training

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Responsible for:

·        Content Creators & Technical Support Staff

Purpose

To oversee the Content Creation team and work with Operations, HR, Recruitment and Marketing to create engaging content for training, recruitment and marketing opportunities. To oversee technical staff and consultants to support the new LMS, Lief, and the Exceptional Care website. To provide tech support to staff. To support Operations and HR in managing training and delivery of training in-house. This covers allocation of staff resource and physical resources including appropriate hardware and software.

About the role

Content Creation

·        Manage the production process of new and revised content from pre-production to post-production, working with Operations, HR, Recruitment and Marketing, to achieve the best quality product.

·        Revising existing content to reflect business changes or new preferences.

·        Creating or revising style guides to ensure all written content is effective and consistent and styled according to Exceptional Care standards.

·        Manage work queues and allocate work to the content creation & technical support teams in priority order. Monitor workload and quality through monthly performance reviews.

·        Produce high quality content to the specifications provided by the Exceptional Care teams to meet their needs.

·        To supervise and support the team daily, as well as through monthly supervisions, probations, and appraisals to ensure the team is hitting aims and objectives inline with targets and the organisations values.

 

Learning Management System (LMS)

·     Support LMS Consultant on the development, implementation and testing of new versions of the LMS.

·     Provide technical and administrative support to employers and learners on the LMS.

 

Training Support

·        Assist tutors with preparation and support for face to face or virtual classroom training sessions both in terms of creating workbooks and materials and completing registers and organising certificates.

 

·        Content creation for face to face and virtual classroom classes for Exceptional Care. From PowerPoint presentations to teaching notes documents.

 

·        Organising the training calendar and advertising/organising training classes in the run up to the class and on the day.

Lief Support

·        Help manage users and permissions.

·        Support all staff with advice and guidance on how to questions.

·        Liaise with Lief when issues occur.

 

Tech Support

·         General Tech Support for all staff and liaison with external IT Support provider.

 

Requirements

·        Experience of using Adobe Suite software. Primarily Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

·        Good grasp of videography design and video structuring.

·        Good administration and management skills.

·        Good communication skills.

·        A willingness to learn new skills.

 

Desirable

·        Experience of creating complementary assets for e-learning courses such as infographics, interactive workbooks and marketing materials.

·        Experience in website development.

·        Experience of still photography and portraiture.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • 6-12 months experience within Childrens Residential Setting

Desired criteria

  • Driver (preferred)
  • NVQ L3 / L4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce (preferred or willing to work towards)
