Heating Installs Supervisor

Here at CTS we are seeking to employ a Heating Installs Supervisor to manage a team of direct and sub-contractor heating installers for our social heating contract on schemes across North and South Down. About the role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· To organise and manage the heating installers to ensure the works are completed in line with the contract specifications and regulations.
· Work in collaboration with the Contracts team to ensure delivery of the contracts.
· Work in collaboration with the Client inspection team to ensure works are completed on time and to the correct standards.
· Ensure all company & department health & safety requirements are adhered to.
· Work with the H&S Management team to ensure risk assessments and method statements for mechanical are being met on site.
· Inspection and snagging of completed works for handover upon completion and manage aftercare issues.
· Collaborate closely with the customer management team to ensure the customer is satisfied with the work and deal with any queries or complaints.
· Support the operations on site where necessary:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should have a plumbing & heating, electrical or construction background and have served their time in one of these disciplines with relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications. Qualifications for Gas Safe or Oftec would be an advantage however relevant training may be provided.
· Specific H&S training including L3 or L4 Supervision, SSSTS, IOSH etc.
· Applicants should hold a valid CSR card.
· Applicants must hold full driving licence and permission to work in UK.
· Well organised and methodical, with ability to show attention to detail in all matters.
· Effective communication skills – ability to communicate at all levels and respond well to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
· Ability to work calmly under pressure.
· Keen sense of time management, punctuality, and reliability.
· Conscientious, polite, and amenable.
· Technically and commercially astute.
· The ability to follow technical layouts and diagrams.

In addition,
· As the majority of the work will be conducted in Public Sector or Housing Associations, we will require a recent DBS certificate CTS will perform a DBS/Access NI check as part of the on-boarding process.
· The role may also require the successful candidate to undertake work specific training on the job or externally.
