Maintenance Support

The Role:

  • Full-time role (40 hours)

  • Working Pattern - Monday - Sunday working five days in seven on a rota

  • There are additional responsibilities for out-of-hours on-call shared with the maintenance team

  • You will be provided with a work vehicle, company mobile phone & tablet, work uniform and tools

What You Will Do:

  • Internal Painting – Preparation and painting of walls, skirting boards, ceilings, doors, etc including touch-ups and refreshes

  • External Painting – Painting of external walls, fences, gates etc

  • Sealing & Caulking – Appling/renewing sealants and silicone around windows, doors, skirting boards, furniture etc where required

  • General Maintenance – Basic joinery, plumbing, and other building repairs

  • Supporting the wider maintenance team with various tasks as required

  • Work positively with the existing maintenance team to learn and develop new skills.

About the role

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in painting/decorating and general maintenance work

  • Basic skills in joinery, plumbing and general building maintenance

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Reliable, punctual and physically capable of handling maintenance tasks

  • Ability to work under pressure where time can sometimes be restricted

  • Understanding of health & safety practices related to maintenance work

  • Full driving licence
