Maintenance Support
The Role:
Full-time role (40 hours)
Working Pattern - Monday - Sunday working five days in seven on a rota
There are additional responsibilities for out-of-hours on-call shared with the maintenance team
You will be provided with a work vehicle, company mobile phone & tablet, work uniform and tools
What You Will Do:
Internal Painting – Preparation and painting of walls, skirting boards, ceilings, doors, etc including touch-ups and refreshes
External Painting – Painting of external walls, fences, gates etc
Sealing & Caulking – Appling/renewing sealants and silicone around windows, doors, skirting boards, furniture etc where required
General Maintenance – Basic joinery, plumbing, and other building repairs
Supporting the wider maintenance team with various tasks as required
Work positively with the existing maintenance team to learn and develop new skills.
About the role
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience in painting/decorating and general maintenance work
Basic skills in joinery, plumbing and general building maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
Reliable, punctual and physically capable of handling maintenance tasks
Ability to work under pressure where time can sometimes be restricted
Understanding of health & safety practices related to maintenance work
Full driving licence
