Full job description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants (Days x 33 hrs and Nights x 22 hrs) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to Residents in our Nursing and Residential home. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our Residents by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.

Duties

  • Assist Residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

  • Support Residents in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management and mobility assistance.

  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care team.

  • Foster a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care home is advantageous but not essential.

  • A caring attitude combined with patience and empathy towards Residents is crucial for success in this role.
