Weekend Maintenance Team Member
Roydon Marina Village is a unique set up with residential park homes, owned holiday lodges and hire fleet lodges as well as a busy marina, hotel and two onsite eateries. We're located in the beautiful Lee Valley Regional Park, a short 5 minute walk from Roydon railway station and central London is only a 30 minute train ride away.
Main purpose of job:To undertake maintenance work of the grounds and premises to ensure they are maintained in a tidy, presentable and safe state at all times. Carrying out all work in line with Health & Safety requirements and regulations. To test and maintain all hire fleet lodge hot tubs to a high and exacting standard as per Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Reporting responsibility:Reports to the Maintenance Manager
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Complete general maintenance and health & safety checks on the holiday lodges
Assist with painting and improving the appearance of hire fleet lodges and hotel accommodation
Keep the grounds clear of litter and debris
Hot tub testing and checks
Hire fleet lodge improvements and repairs, such as decking, fencing and architraves
Jet washing hire fleet lodges, decking and pathways
Adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and site-specific Health and Safety protocols
Undertake any other reasonable tasks instructed by the General Manager

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
Must possess a full clean UK driving licence
Experience
Previous handyperson/grounds maintenance desirable
Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Able to maintain a smart appearance
Be professional with a team focused approach and excellent customer service skills
Have a problem-solving mindset
Must have a flexible approach to working arrangements and an ability to align working hours with customer demand and workload.
