Warehouse Supervisor

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse and for overseeing a team of up to 15 production operatives. You will be comfortable in managing KPI's, whilst optimising efficiencies where possible. You will oversee that all orders are picked to meet time targets and explore ways that can improve site operations.

Comfortable in leading by example, you will find problem solving enjoyable, whilst working with the warehouse team in a busy environment.

This is a dayshift Monday to Friday role with some occasional weekend working required.

About the role

  • Leading the warehouse stock, picking and yard loading teams;

  • Delegation of daily duties, whilst motivating others;

  • Overseeing the delivery, receipting and storage of goods as they are produced by on-site factory;

  • Ensuring all inventory, orders and stock management processes are completed;

  • Replenishing and restocking of inventory;

  • Supervising loading / unloading trailers in the yard;

  • Liaising directly with the logistics & sales team to ensure customers are supplied OTIF;

  • Promoting a Health & Safety first culture;

  • Maintaining high standard of Housekeeping using 5S methodology.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Warehouse Supervisor Experience – 1 years minimum
  • Warehouse Operations Experience – 1 year minimum
  • Knowledge of Windows-based software (e.g. Microsoft)

Desired criteria

  • Narrow Aisle / Counterbalance Licence
