Team Leader
Cowper Care is seeking applications for the role of Team Leader Health Care Assistant for its Nursing Home - Gascoigne House Nursing Home, Rathmines Dublin 6

This is a Full-time position – 39 hours per week.
Garda Vetting and Police Clearance will be required for the successful applicant.

About the role
The Team Leader will:
Provide support and guidance to the Health Care Assistants
Maximise the independence of the resident to achieve the highest possible quality of Life.
Afford every opportunity to the resident to live and die with dignity.
Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to residents, promoting their independence and equality at all times
Provide direct resident care by undertaking personal care tasks e.g. assistance with washing, dressing, bathing, eating, toileting
Participate in care planning and alert nurses regarding any changes in the physical and mental state of the residents
Contribute to the moving and treatment of residents to maximise physical comfort
Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for the residents, staff and visitors
Applicant Requirements
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or the equivalent
3 years experience in a nursing home environment
Strong written and spoken English
