Reservations Agent
Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is currently recruiting for a Reservations Agent to join the Team.
The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To answer reservation calls in a timely and courteous manner and to respond to email enquiries
To inform other departments of VIP arrivals and special requirements
To record and process deposit information
To use upselling techniques and promote hotel facilities
To record reservation information accurately; to identify and record group and transient business segmentation codes
To make bookings for F&B outlets during the reservation process
To complete the no show report form the evening before ensuring the revenue is recorded on the daily no show report and the charges correctly charged to credit cards
To ensure that the rooming lists and booking details are accurate prior to guests arrival
About the role
Requirements:
Fluent English and excellent communication and written skills
Previous experience working with a reservations system is desirable
Previous experience as hotel receptionist or reservations agent is essential
