£12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage!)
22.5 hours per week, fixed term contract 12 months; anticipated start date 30/06/2025
Cathedral View is set in the centre of Bury St Edmunds and the garden looks over the Cathedral and Abbey Gardens. We offer respite care in a small 8 bed unit for adults with Learning disabilities and autism. We are New team that work together well and need the help of a Business support person to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We are looking for a Business Support to provide admin support to our Management Team and Support Workers. The position is varied and includes finance responsibilities, such as invoicing and payroll, keeping day plans and rotas up to date, ordering stationary, processing annual leave, answering the telephone and dealing with queries and other tasks delegated by the Management team. Most importantly, we are looking for somebody who will liaise with our customers and their families, providing them with a professional and friendly service
Hours of work: Mon 6 hours (10.00-16.00) Tues 5.5 Hours 10.30-16.00) Thurs 5 hours (12.00-18.00) and Fri 6 hours (10.00-16.00) . We would like to provide the opportunity to help the Registered Manager and Quality Assurance Lead with all aspects of admin for a busy respite centre. This is a new small team and this role requires someone to proactive detail oriented. You should be willing to learn and try new things and help with tasks where needed, a good sense of humour will help.

Your responsibilities as a Business Support include...
Provide efficient administrative support to the team
Provide financial support, including petty cash, processing invoices, maintenance of accounts
Provide a customer focused first point of contact
Use knowledge and expertise to improve administrative processes
About the role
Your induction
Leading Lives runs a 3 week induction programme: You will be met on your first day by your buddy and be supported through this.
Start date will be confirmed by the recruitment team further to a satisfactory enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks.
