Night Porter (Part-time)
Are you a night owl with a passion for hospitality?
The Malone Hotel, based in Belfast have an opportunity for a Night Porter (16 hours per week) to become a valued member of our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional service to guests while handling night-time security, reception duties, and hotel upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling late check-ins and early check-outs with professionalism and efficiency.
Assisting guests with any overnight requests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Maintaining the security of the hotel during nighttime hours.
Setting up and preparing areas for the next day’s operations.
Performing general cleaning and tidying duties as needed.
Ensure all guests and staff are escorted off the property safely.
Nightly security checks on Malone Hotel and Apartments.
Ensure all relevant Health and Safety policies are adhered to and implemented.
About the role
What we are looking for:
A friendly and professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and remain proactive during night shifts.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Basic knowledge of hotel booking systems is an advantage.
Right to work and live in the UK.

- Highly responsible and reliable.

- Right to work and live in the UK.
Desired criteria
- Basic knowledge of hotel booking systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Previous Night Porter experience in a similar role.
