Permanent / Full Time
Working hours - Monday to Thursday (7am-4pm) Friday (6am-2pm).
Reports to - Supply Chain Manager
Salary - Starting salary commensurate with experience
Location - This role will be based at Rasharkin, Co. Antrim.
To ensure the efficient handling of materials by receiving, inspecting, and processing goods, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting manufacturing through timely material issuance.
This role also involves safe forklift operation, data entry into the ERP system, and providing general departmental support.
About the role
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving, inspecting and processing goods in, including scanning and completing dispatch paperwork
Unloading of goods coming into the Company ERP System and organising storage with the safe operation of forklift.
Reporting shorts/discrepancies/quality issues with suppliers to the direct manager.
Maintaining accurate records of material and stock
Pick and pack goods for the manufacturing facility
Deliver materials to the shop floor in a timely manner
Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives throughout the stores department
Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy
Responsible for assisting the department with general operations as directed by your manager
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to in all areas of the factory
What you will need
Required criteria
- Ability to work in a fast environment
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time and attendance record
- Previous experience in a store/material handling environment or similar
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Valid forklift licence and driving experience
Desired criteria
- Maths and English Language Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
- Strong IT Skills & knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
