Transport Compliance Administrator

About the role
Driver Provider UK are looking for a Transport Compliance Administrator who has experience within the Transport sector. This opportunity is 12 weeks temp to perm working within a busy transport department within a Retail Distribution Centre.
You will support the day to day administration of the Transport department, overseeing Compliance.
Promoting and ensuring compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation
Ensure vehicles are scheduled for service / safety inspections when required
Oversee daily defect checking by drivers and collate reports for the TM to review
Review and file transport related records
Aid with and carry out quarterly licence checks
Update and maintain the drivers working time calendar, ensuring all holiday, sickness and other duties are entered
Aid the driver trainer with driver infringements, issuing reports and producing the relevant infringement paperwork
Maintain driver records and assist the TM with maintenance of vehicle records
Produce and distribute regular weekly compliance reports
Ideally the successful candidate would work 8am-4pm, Sunday – Thursday but we are willing to discuss other suggested rota patterns.
Pay:
Weekdays £14.83ph
Weekends £19.73 ph
Once you go perm with the company your salary would be a total of £32,884.80
To be successful in the role you should have:
Experience with Transport compliance (Essential)
Data Entry / Administrative Experience
PC Literate
Excellent communication skills
Ability to analyse verbal and numeric data
Able to work on own initiative and under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team
Good Time management and organisational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy.
