We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Graduate to join our team. This programme offers valuable hands-on experience in recruitment, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing promotion, involved in pay and remuneration as well as experience in employee and industrial relations. Successful candidates will be closely working with the Human Resources team and key people around our Roadstone Locations and will gain a rich understanding of human resources in a progressive and ambitious market leading company.
About the role
Graduates will take part in our two-year graduate development programme, which will guide you through a semi-structured programme across various areas in our business in order to develop technical, interpersonal, commercial and management skills. Roadstone’s 2025 Graduate Programme will commence the beginning of September 2025.

Key areas of responsibility
Recruitment
Coordination of the recruitment and selection process for open roles across the business, including the drafting of job specifications, participating in the interview process and providing feedback to candidates.
Recruitment of the Graduate Programme including attending University Career fairs.
Recruitment of the Apprenticeship Programme.
Administration
Effective management of onboarding and inducting new employees
Effective management of administration relating to probation periods, performance management, mentoring programmes and other training and development programmes.
Maintenance of HR database and admin on systems along with employee files.
Implementation and maintenance of employee policies and procedures.
Industrial Relations
Keeping up to date with Employee Relations laws and regulations
Scheduling meetings and note-taking at such meetings when required.
Project work
Organising and participating in initiatives aligned with our corporate social responsibility commitments.
Organising and implementing wellbeing and inclusion and diversity initiatives across the business
Other project work as required.
Candidates should ideally possess:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources or relevant discipline (CIPD).
Team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proactive, organised, results driven and self-motivated.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
An ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines in order to produce results.
Relevant HR/People experience is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a desire for personal, Company and Group achievement.
