The Junior Accounts Assistant will provide support to the finance team, focusing primarily on cashiering and administrative tasks. About the role

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cashiering Duties:

    • Process customer payments and ensure accurate recording.

    • Reconcile daily cash and credit transactions.

    • Maintain and manage the cash register and petty cash fund.

    • Address discrepancies in transactions promptly and professionally.

  2. Administrative Support:

    • Assist in preparing invoices and processing payments.

    • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

    • Respond to customer and internal queries related to accounts and payments.

    • Organize and file financial documents for audit purposes.

  3. General Accounts Support:

    • Assist in bank reconciliations and month-end reporting.

    • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations.

  4. Additional Duties:

    • Contribute to improving administrative processes.

    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Senior Accounts Team

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in cashiering or an administrative role is preferred but not essential.

  • Skills:

    • Strong numerical and organizational skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.

    • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
