The Home

Holmes Court is a new residential home for people aged 18 or over with complex needs including Autism, learning disability and behaviour that challenges. Holmes Court is located in Ballymena and it neighbours with Slemish Nursing Home. Holmes Court location is on a walking distance from local shops and parks, the home can be reached easily by bus or train. 

The Role

Holmes Court require a driver to transport residents and staff to different appointments and social activities, alongside staff on shift. You will be provided with the mandatory training within the home. This role is 35 hours per week, including weekend work.

About the role

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transport residents to and from appointments and social activities

  • Work alongside staff to plan and co-ordinate trips out.

  • Safety managing the travel of residents and staff.

  • Observe and monitors the wellbeing of residents.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A good standard of oral and written English.
  • Respectful to not only residents but the values and beliefs of other team members.
  • Experience gained within driver role
  • A full UK licence and over age of 25 for insurance purposes
  • A clean driving licence; we will need to complete a licence check
