Job Purpose
As an Experienced Bid Writer / Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our bidding capacity and driving business growth. You’ll work closely with the Estimating Team, ensuring that our proposals are well-researched, precisely crafted, and effectively communicate our exceptional offerings to clients. Your contributions will directly impact the continued success and expansion of Wernick Refurbished Buildings.
About the role
What You’ll Be Doing:
Collaborating on bid planning with team members and stakeholders
Reviewing and editing proposal responses to ensure high-quality, client-facing service offerings
Coordinating contributions from sales, technical, and product teams
Delivering written proposals to meet tight tender deadlines
Building and updating proposal content for future success
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven expertise in researching, writing, and editing tender content
Exceptional communication and influencing skills across all levels
Outstanding time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Attention to detail that’s second to none
Proficiency in MS Office and impeccable timekeeping
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with bid libraries
Knowledge of public sector frameworks
