Junior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a self-driven Graphics Designer to join our talented marketing team, based at our Head Office in Belfast. 

Under the inspiring leadership of our Head of Marketing, Matt McRoberts you will have the opportunity to support the marketing team in the successful delivery of the group’s marketing plan with the creation of a wide range of visually strong assets aligned to the Hastings Hotels brand.

The successful candidate will have previous graphics experience, with expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and a creative flair in design.

About the role

About the role:

  • Creation of effective design solutions for branded campaigns.

  • Work closely with internal departments and senior management.

  • Liaise with printers and suppliers to produce and print materials as required.

  • Adhere to and follow the company’s brand guidelines.

  • Art direction of Photography and videography as required.

  • Work in conjunction with our external agencies and partners.

  • Development of the Hastings Hotels brand and individual hotel brands.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 years’ graphics experience in a professional setting

  • An Honours degree in graphics design or another relevant degree, 2.1 or above.

  • Highly competent with Mac design based software and the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign).

  • A natural creative flair when designing assets.

  • Good working knowledge of video software specifically After effects & Premiere pro

  • Have strong communication, typography and design skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong project management and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of current design techniques and trends.
